I am not here on my honeymoon. I am here with my family and my goal is to read, relax, and return with detoxed and bronzed skin. This place is absolutely my jam.

I downed enough iced-green-tea-mocktails by the infinity pool that all the honeymooners probably think I an alcoholic...oh and that my brother is my fiancé/ husband. His goal is to become obliterated by noon. He usually does not succeed since his tolerance is so high.

My father is quite a bit of a drinker as well...



My mother is more of a bathing beauty kind of lady.... and I mean that literally.



This strapping young man will drive you in a golf cart to your own private villa. But first, let's eat some lunch at the Asian/Vietnamese restaurant.

Welcome to your own private villa where you can sunbathe naked and sleep in a hammock safely... unless you are allergic to ants. (I am...but I probably would sleep in the hammock...naked.) 
Warning: there are an insane amount of mosquitos. It is as if they all come here on their honeymoon as well. I don't blame them...it's quite lovely. Excellent choice, mosquitos.

Four Seasons New Orleans

  The Four Seasons New Orleans  The good times rolled at the Four Seasons New Orleans. We have visited with and without a baby, and both times were magnificent. The Chandelier Bar (showed below) is magnificent! Miss River is a fun spot to eat, with jazz music. Chemin à la Mer is my favorite, with panoramic views of the Mississippi River. I always get the Savage Blonde Oysters. It is the place to go for traditional Louisiana fare with a twist of French techniques.  The fitness center at the Four Seasons is world class, but if you are looking for more of an outdoors family adventure, check out Audubon Park. There is a zoo as well as lovely grounds to stroll and walk off all the jambalaya & such. The Audubon Aquarium is actually closer to the Four Seasons than it is to Audubon Park! This experience is not to be missed. It was my son’s first aquarium experience. It was entertaining for us too.  Another fun spot with a unique bar experience, bar Marilou. a hidden gem for craft cocktails

  A guide for the town where The Bush Family vacations. 🇺🇸Kennebunkport, Maine.  The quaint, yet pedigreed All-American town about 30 miles south of Portland, is full of exquisite lobster fine dining experiences and pristine marinas full of boats.  Where you are staying…  I stayed at the White Barn Inn, an Auberge property.
