The Biltmore Hotel - Coral Gables


The legendary Biltmore Hotel in an architectural dream. It is located just 15 minutes from the Miami airport, but the historic and iconic property will transport you to another time. The luxurious Gatsby-like hotel is designed to mesmerize with Mediterranean-style ceilings, Moorish courtyard design, and European features, all on a lush championship golf course, creating a naturally serene atmosphere. 


The Biltmore is the ideal spot for that upcoming anniversary trip, girls trip or destination wedding! I loved my wedding at The Biltmore. Stay tuned for a detailed blog post on my experience with this sought-after destination wedding venue.


 

My favorite part about The Biltmore is most definitely the pool. It was, at one point in time, the largest pool in the world! The 23,000-square foot pool is nested amidst palms, hibiscus, and bougainvillea. 

 

Cascade also served food by the pool. For more privacy and relaxation, rent a cabana for the day! For even more relaxation, book a treatment at the spa. 

 

You can spend countless hours swimming in the iconic Biltmore pool, playing tennis, practicing golf, indulging in the spa, and walking the historic grounds. 


 

The Sunday Brunch is a classic way to end your time here. Fontana is delicious any time of the day and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Palm D’Or is a private restaurant space, where we held our Rehearsal Dinner.


You can check in anytime you’d like, but you may never want to leave The Biltmore!

Four Seasons New Orleans

  The Four Seasons New Orleans  The good times rolled at the Four Seasons New Orleans. We have visited with and without a baby, and both times were magnificent. The Chandelier Bar (showed below) is magnificent! Miss River is a fun spot to eat, with jazz music. Chemin à la Mer is my favorite, with panoramic views of the Mississippi River. I always get the Savage Blonde Oysters. It is the place to go for traditional Louisiana fare with a twist of French techniques.  The fitness center at the Four Seasons is world class, but if you are looking for more of an outdoors family adventure, check out Audubon Park. There is a zoo as well as lovely grounds to stroll and walk off all the jambalaya & such. The Audubon Aquarium is actually closer to the Four Seasons than it is to Audubon Park! This experience is not to be missed. It was my son’s first aquarium experience.   A guide for the town where The Bush Family vacations. 🇺🇸Kennebunkport, Maine.  The quaint, yet pedigreed All-American town about 30 miles south of Portland, is full of exquisite lobster fine dining experiences and pristine marinas full of boats.  Where you are staying…  I stayed at the White Barn Inn, an Auberge property. The only Amex #FHR in the area. Complimentary breakfast (mostly coffee) is my favorite way to start the day… Where to relax… Walking on the beach is a close second favorite way to begin my mornings. There are three main Kennebunk Beach areas: Mother’s Beach, Middle Beach, and Gooch’s Beach.
